Summary:Local Government through the Department of Health is to provide basic health care needs in the village, especially the health of mothers and children by placing a midwives PTT (non-permanent employees). In determining the PTT midwives location placement, the most common problems are there are inconsistencis in the placement of the PTT midwives needed by a village. To overcome this problem, a computer system in the form of decision support systems is required. The use of decision support system is expected to help determining the suitability of midwives needed by a village. The research aims to build decision support systems determining the placement of the PTT midwives, the method used here is the profile matching, using GAP analysis by searching the midwives profiles who have profile as close as possible to the values desired by the village profiles. The system is dynamic application of the addition and reduction criteria needs to be a reference in the assessment. The results of the process of ranking of the profile value of PTT midwives who will be stationed in the village, and serve as a recommendation of placement decisions on Bireuen PTT midwives.
