The aim of this study was to answer the problems associated with the role Koramil in overcoming natural disasters and their implications for Regional Resilience. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative data analysis techniques through documentation, interviews and observation. Through these methods this study answered two problems that have been proposed formula above. The results give an answer that the Territorial Command Unit in this case is Koramil 01/Cangkringan is at the front line in implementing natural disaster operations Mount Merapi which is incorporated with PB Satlak Sleman District in cooperation with relevant agencies and community elements that exist with regard local knowledge existing hereditary and affects the Regional Resilience. Territorial Command Unit, in the same stage with Koramil current level , is needed by society, especially within the framework of MOOTW (Military Operations Other Than War), in which there mandate to assist local government in handling natural disasters. Society fee that the presence of Territorial Command Unit is a historical inevitability that ought to be improved the ability.
