Summary: | This study aims to determine: 1) how training and development of PIM III
in Education and Training Agency Sorong Regency implemented, 2) to know
what factors that affect the implementation of training and development of PIM
III in Education and Training Agency Sorong Regency.
This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection
techniques used were interviews and documents. Informantwere Secretary of
Education and Training Agency, Head of Structural Training, as well as the
participants Diklatpim III. Location is in environmental studies Training Agency
Sorong regency, West Papua Province. The technique used is the model of
interactive analysis of Milles and Huberman, where there are three main
components namely data reduction, data presentation and there are carried out
simultaneously, with the data collection process, in the form of cycles during the
research process.
The results of the analysis the study found: 1) Implementation of PIM III
in Education and Training Agency Sorong Regency starts from planning to
evaluation of training. Agency does not conduct training needs analysis for staff
training will be provided training for the material/curriculum standardization have
been conducted by LANRI. 2) Motivation to attend training participants were very
enthusiastic. They followed very well all the activities in class and outside class,
for the first three days. Participation in training is quite active, engaging in
activities dikat. Participants feel excited and voluntarily conducting educational
training. Participants have the responsibility to complete the task and burden
diklatnya, even if they leave the training it must permit and for the greater interest.
However, there is also a participant whose participation is less good. Selection of
participants conducted by the local unit (SKPD) within the Government of Sorong
regency. Participants are personnel who have occupied positions in SKPD echelon
III respectively and sent for training. They acknowledged that the selection of
potential participants conducted in a transparent and democratic administration
and compliance requirements. |
