<p>The research of usage Dregs (waste part of recauticizing pulp mill) as ameliorant to increase element content<br /> of macro nutrient calcium, magnesium and pH of peat soil has been done. Peat soil was taken away from<br /> countryside Rimbo Panjang, district of Kampar Riau. Peat soil which has been dried placed at wood box and sowed<br /> by dregs with dose 100, 200, and 300 gr/box ( 5, 10 and 15 ton/ Ha). As indicator is applied by corn crop.<br /> From research it is got that giving of dregs with dose 300 gr/box ( 15 ton/ Ha) at peat soil can increase pH of<br /> peat soil out of 3,9 - 4 becomes 6,36, content Ca increases out of 583,18 mg/kg to become 3046,15 mg/kg and<br /> content Mg increases out of 362,59 mg/kg to become 409,18 mg/kg</p>
