Description
Summary:
The advance of DNA fingerprint technology in forensic medidne is very helpful to solve many problem on personal identification. For this aplication, needs population data base of certain loci of STR in order to make a statistical exclusion test of the evidence. Nowadays, such data base is not available from Indonesian population, especially Yogyakarta.
Aim: to analize the genetic loci of TPOX, CFS1PO, and TH01 in the Yogyakarta people. Methods:This is an analitic-descriptive study. The DNA was extracted from whole blood using phenolchloroform method, and then amplification was performed to TPOX, CFS1PO, and TH01 loci. After acrylamide gel electrophoresis, the genotyping was read by comparing to the alleic ladder of each locus. The data was analized to determine ellelic distribution, Power of Discrimination (PD), Hardy-Weinberg
Equilibrium (HW-E), dan Heterozygosity.
TPOX: PD 0,899, PE 0,687 PI 3,28 Heterozygozity 0,8462, , Matching Probability: 0,101, HWE ExactTest 0,2813. TH01: PDO,932, PE 0,543 PI 2, 17, Heterozygozity 0,769, Matching Probability:O,068, HWE Exact Test 0,2901. CFS1PO: PD 0,917, PE 0,223 PI 1,08 Heterozygozity 0,538 , Matching Probability 0,083 HV\IE Exact Test 0,002813.
TPOX and THO 1 loci are applicable for forensic identification of Yogyakarta people, but CFS 1PO is out of HWE.
