Summary:<p>Oye-sensitized solar cell (OSSC) was construded of sandwich system of dye-coated thin film TiOzon conducting glass as photoanode and golcl-coated conducting glass as counter eledrode. Redox eledrolyte was injeded in between the sandwiched cells. OSSC was also called organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells. The dyes used for sensitizer SOOJldhave near black body absorption spedra in order to fully harvesting solar radiation. Currently, ruthenium metal transition complexes have been used as the benchmark of this system. The eledronic transitions originate from metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) for poly-pyridilligandsand TT-TT*forphorpyrinand phtalocyanineor antocyanine dyes. Accordingto the later eledronic transition, Indonesia have abundant biCKfiverseresources of phorphyrin and antocyanine leading to potential sensitizers.
