The tsunami wave usually leaves deposit in the form of sediment and also some marine organism. The tsunami wave of Aceh is interesting to be researched because it left thick deposits and can be used to facilitate the research of tsunami deposit characteristic.The sedimentology of tsunami deposit in Jantang Area of Aceh West Coast is studied in means of textural characteristics of sediments especially by using granulometry, mineralogy and provenance analysis.<br />
