By means of the IP equipment, Scientrex, comprising Motor Generator TSQ-4, Transmitter control TSQ-3, and Receiver Domain IPR-12, measurement data are gained. <br />
The IP data processing based on moving average, resulted in resistivity and chargeability curves at the surface line. The further step is modeling with RES2DINV program, to find the true resistivity and chargeability at the line and pseudosection contours. The combination of both processes leads to the presence of information of iron are deposit.<br />
By taking low resistivity and high chargeability values, deposit the iron are deposit can be localized. The calculation at all lines tends to show the moment of 539600 tonnes. Other than iron are, in Ujung Langit, based on resistivity and chargeability distribution analyses, ther overborder (soil), sandstone, volcanic breccia, dacite or andesite, and intrution.<br />

Survei geofisika untuk mengetahui kehadiran cebakan besi dengan menggunakan metode Polarisasi Terinduksi (IP), konfigurasi dipole-dipole, telah dilaksanakan di Ujung Langit, Kabupaten Lombok, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dengan menggunakan peralatan survei IP Sciatrex, yang terdiri atas Motor Generator TSQ-4, Transmitter control TSQ-3, dan Receiver Time Domain IPR-12, diperoleh data pengukuran arus terkirim dan potential yang terbaca pada masing-masing elektrode arus dan potensial.<br />
Tahap pengolahan data IP adalah denga moving average, sehingga diperoleh resistivitas dan chargaebilitas di permukaan pada setiap line. Kemudian dengan pemodelan RES2DINV diperoleh kontur pseudosection resistivity dan chargaebilitas pada setiap line. Dengan menggunakan hasil keduanya, akan diperoleh posisi cebakan bijih besi di bawah permukaan pada setiap line-nya sehingga jika digabung akan diperoleh informasi cadangan bijih besi di daerah penelitian.<br />
Dengan mengambil nilai resistivitas rendah dan chargeabilitas tinggi, batas cebakan mineral besi dapat dilokalisir. Interpretasi kontur pseudosection resistivitas dan chargaebilitas pada semua lintasan pengukuran digabung dengan data singkapan serta geologi daerah penelitian, diperoleh cadangan mineral besi sebesar 539,600 ton.<br />
Selain bijih besi, di daerah Ujung Langit, berdasarkan analisis distribusi resistivitas dan chargaebilitas, terdapat pula beberapa satuan batuan yang berupa lapisan penutup (soil), endapan batupasir, breksi vulkanik, dasit atau andesit, dan intrusi.</p> |
