Tangguh LNG Project is the mega-projects that build LNG plant in Teluk Bintuni district, West Papua Province. Construction of the Tangguh LNG plant and involves the relocation of Tanah Merah Villages. In 2004, the entire population of Tanah Merah villages relocated to a new settlement which is located not far from their original residence. Resettlement has brought many changes in the development of society, both in terms of social, economic, and cultural. These changes also result from the activities of the Tangguh LNG gas plant construction and the presence of programs for the community that accompanies this resettlement. The method used in this study is qualitative and inductive data analysis with a phenomenological approach.
