Summary:The Rejang Lebong regency of Bengkulu province, with a vast area 1515.76_km 2 , has large potential for class C quarry. In other fact, the utilization of Tanjung Beringin crushed stone and Musi Tabarenah sand in Curup Utara district, Rejang Lebong regency for flexible pavement material is still not optimum. The main problem is lack of research and information about this local materials characteristics and mechanical properties to use in flexible pavement, and also the lack of investors to manage the quarry process in this area. The research objective is to determine the characteristics and potencies of use this coarse aggregate (crushed stone) and fine aggregate (sand) in AC-Base mixture for a heavy traffic. In this research, three variations of aggregate mix was tested and used in AC-Base mixture. The main testing is Marshall test and Indirect Tensile Strength Test.
