Summary: | This research has the purpose of identifying the correlation between
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) knowledge and the Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) usage attitude with occupational accidents in the workplace
among the nursing staffs of RSUD X Kupang. This research is analytical
descriptive and a cross-sectional design. The research subjects consist of 78
nurses at RSUD X Kupang. The type of analysis used in this research is the
univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis with Pearson Product Moment
correlation test and multiple linear regression test.
The research shows a significant correlation between knowledge on OSH and
the PPE usage attitude with occupational accidents in the workplace, in which
knowledge on OSH contributes to 43.31% and PPE usage attitude contributes to
42.72% occupational accidents in the workplace. The research also shows a
significant correlation between the knowledge on OSH and PPE usage attitude, in
which knowledge on OSH contributes to 55.40%. The combined contribution of
general knowledge on OSH and PPE usage attitude with occupational accidents in
the workplace rate amounts to 85.60%. |
