This is what the author found while reading the work of Arleen entitled Kumpulan Dongeng Kerajaan Kingdom Tales Collections. Gender injustice in the form of gender stereotyping is way through the use of symbols (including text and images) that look simple and readily understood by readers accustomed to children's literature. Analyzed problem in this study were (1) what are the forms of traditional gender stereotypes symbols and their meanings (2) how the shape and meaning of transformation in the work of bilingual texts, especially relating to gender stereotypes. The purposes of this study are to reveal the meaning of the symbol and shape transformation of gender stereotypes in the work of bilingual. This study uses a semiotic approach, with the type of qualitative research. Semiotic approach emphasizes the meaning of the symbols contained in the story. Data research in the form of thought, action figures, dialogue and images. Data were analyzed using analysis semiotics of Peirce. Conclusions in this study are: (1) Representation of Traditional Gender Stereotypes. Stereotypes of men as rulers in all sectors of life as represented through the symbol of the horse, dragon eggs, and chair. Men as protector�s visible symbol of swords, arrows, red roses and poems, and men as leaders of a small child represented with symbols, hand positions, hats lettered H. While the stereotype of women as domestic rulers beautiful, selfish and materialistic affairs represented appearance in the symbol of long hair, dress nice, easy chair, butterfly, pearl and parties. Stereotypes of women as family protector represented in symbols: blankets, numbers 99, fairies, loom, put the position of the head. JAR stereotype of women as appendages of represented the symbol position in his father's arms, heads down position, the position of women when receiving poetry from men. (2) The problem of transformation of the existing text in the KTC, among others, in the form of adding words, the reduction of words and matching words. The meaning of symbols and transformations that exist in the work of Arleen implies the persistence of traditional gender stereotypes that exist in children's literature.
