Background: Nutrition status in elderly is an aspect of healthy aging. Nutrition status and health of the elderly are generally influenced by location of residence (rural or urban areas), economic status, education, type of family, drug consumption, psychological disorder, and the most important is nutrition and coexisting disease. To assess nutrition status that involved all of those was used instrument of mini nutritional assessment (MNA). This instrument known have good sensitivity and specificity and have good enough reliability to be used in the community. Objectives: To find out feasibility of MNA, elderly nutrition status that was assessed used MNA and their correlation to nutrient intake and illness history (record) in Posbindu in rural and urban area of Katapang Subdistrict, District of Bandung. Methods: This was analytic observational study used cross sectional design. The population was elderly member of posbindu in urban and rural area of Katapang Subdistrict, Bandung Regency. The number of subject was 112 peoples from 6 posbindu that was divided to two groups
