Participation is the involvement of Depok beach community and all parties have the same interest in achieving certain objectives shared by participating in the taking part that each goal is achieved perfectly. Analysis of the data in this descriptive study was to use inductive way, which means the formation of abstractions based on the parts that have been collected. Data analysis is done by understanding and assemble the data has been collected systematically. The goal is to prove the local community response to tourism and how public participation in protecting the environment with the coastal resorts Depok see the reasons already given. Secondary data which is owned and supported by primary data or the results of interviews, then conducted the identification and classification of each respondent, in order to obtain answers and conclusions. From the analysis and interpretation of data found that Depok Beach Tourism Management in the administration are still united by the government with tourist areas in the village Parangtritis. Therefore collection of user charges, infrastructure development, improving the quality of human resources in aid by the local government district of Bantul. For community participation in tourism management by establishing diujudkan Depok Beach Tourism Cooperative Mina Bahari 45 Depok Beach, this is an organization of community organizations that exist in Hamlet Depok. The majority of people who join in this cooperative is a community located in Hamlet Depok. The policy involves a cooperative society to participate in tourism activities in Depok Beach. such as trading, parking, tourist attractions, safety, and cleanliness. Recommendations are given of the results of this study is public participation in the tourist area of Depok Beach should be improved again and to innovate tatarung better, considering the environmental management is still minimal. This is evident from the arrangement kesemerautan merchandise and setting the location where food stalls and attractions. If this note it will add more beauty and comfort of Depok Beach tourist area which results can be enjoyed by the community.
