Summary: | The study, entitled Samin�s Moral Doctrine in the Ethics Perspective: Its
Relevance for Developing Character Nations, aims to understand the philosophy
of life Samin community. This study also aims to determine the moral teachings
Samin community, including the flow of any ethics and then this study also aims
to see the relevance of moral teachings Samin community for the development of
the nation's character.
This study is a library research, using the formal object is ethical, while the
material object that is moral teachings contained in the Samin community. This
study uses the methods of historical continuity, hermeneutics and heuristics. The
method was used to analyze the moral teaching of the people who were later
examined with the perspective of ethics.
The results of this study are as follows: first, the philosophy of life Samin
community more emphasis on the attitude of life waspodo. Wong Sikep view of
life that must always be careful to live a life full of feeling and moral
considerations, even wong Sikep have their view of life that is in the move is
always considered first, if the talk should be right (tindak sepecak, gunem
sekecap). This is the view of life Samin noble and full of character. Second,
ethics of virtue of Samin community lies in Angger Angger Lakonana, Angger-
Angger Lakonana, which have values lakonana sabar. Sabare dieling-eling,
trokale dilakoni. These values are often implemented by wong Sikep, in upholding
the principles of responsibility. Third, Third, the ethics of freedom for the people
of Samin is free to act in accordance with the phrase dhuwukmu yo dhuwekku
mulo diikhlaske. The phrase has a free purpose, in a sense have their uses and
benefits to wong Sikep. Ethical freedom is part of ethics of utilitarianism. Fourth,
ethics of deontology of Samin community born of Angger-Angger Pratikel with
the principles of the moral teachings wrote aja srei, drengki, tukar padu, dahpen,
kemeren, mbadhog colong, these values have become ethical duty to Samin
society. Such obligation is to borrow a term from Immanuel Kant's categorical
imperative is. Fifth, ethics of teleology of Samin community in Angger-Angger
Pangucap, which has the ethical principles in accordance with the pangucap saka
lima, pangucap saka, bundhelane ana pitu. Lan Saka pangucap sanga,
bundhelane ana pitu, philosophical meaning it contains symbols that emphasize
the ethics of honesty. Honesty should grow in conscience and speech. Sixth, the
relevance of the Samin�s morality, namely Angger-Angger Pratikel, Angger-
Angger Pangucap and Angger-Angger Lakonana to the question of the moral
crisis in Indonesia, as an effort to fix crisis of confidence and attitude to the
oppurtunistic life. |
