Management PT. Pama Persada Nusantara was well aware with the tight
competition in the business world today, as an innovative company, PT. Pama
Persada Nusantara has used the scorecard as a strategic long-term management
system. This company uses the scorecard measurement to solve a variety of
critical management process. Also to set a clear company vision and strategy,
communicating and linking strategic objectives and measuring the plan, set goals
to be aligned with the strategic initiatives and enhance strategic feedback and
learning. Therefore, the authors are interested in doing research on the mining
sector by selecting the title "Performance Evaluation of Corporate PT. Pama
Persada Nusantara using Balanced Scorecard ".
The scope of this study was to evaluate the performance of companies
with the Balanced Scorecard approach in terms of the learning perspective,
internal business perspective, customer perspective and financial perspective. The
evaluation process is done by comparing between plans / targets and actual
scorecard owned by each company and also compares with a company that has a
similar type of industry for a number of aspects relating to other companies.
The evaluation of the performance of PT. Pama Persada Nusantara is a
very important to do. Because through this assessment, we might be able to
identify the achievable and unachievable targets result, thus it can be used as data
to support management decision-making in the future. |
