Summary: | Creative behavior is a vital component for success of organization in a
dynamic business environment. In a dynamic working environment, an
organization or company will look for creative thinkers to provide or contribute
their ideas are very necessary in gaining competitive advantage. Important
elements that can stimulate or inhibit the creative behavior of employees is their
perception on how conducive working environment or organizational climate
conducive to being creative. Because of the perception of each member
organization of the work environment serve as the basis for the creation of an
atmosphere of creativity, then the differences in individual perceptions may
provide important implications for organization in supporting the formation of
creativity.
The study aimed to determine the influence of these variables individually
leader member exchange and energy toward creative behavior. The variables used
in this study are based on models of voter behavior are developed by Atwater and
Carmeli (2009). Research conducted on 117 respondents who were employees of
the hotel Grand Tropic. Selection of respondents conducted by purposive
sampling. The data processing performed by the method of mediation regression
analysis with SPSS program Ver. 15.
Based on the research result which shows that indeed proven true that the
Leader Member Exchange granted to employees can affect the individual energy
of employees and the impact on employee creative behavior in the work
environment. Therefore, the management or corporate managers need to pay
attention to the good relationship between the companies to their employees so as
to maintain the energy and creative behavior of work experienced by employees. |
