| Summary: | As state company, PT Semen Tonasa is required to conduct appropriate
corporate responsibility in accordance with laws mandate and policy of the
Ministry of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) through a program called
partnership programs and environment (PKBL). The company is currently facing
many problems. It is not apart with managing program does not in tune with
society expectation of the community. In the course of later, often having a
constraint applied to programs that encourage the author to see the in-depth
implementation of the program.
Methods used in this research was qualitative descriptive, data obtained through
interview, observation and field documentation. the key informant are determined
by purpose sampling in which the chosen informant are those who get involved in
PKBL program: chairman of PKBL Semen Tonasa and the staff, chairman of
Biring Ere, prominent figures, NGO and the populace of Biring Ere.
Biring Ere is of the village which get closed with Semen Tonasa and becomes the
focused area for PKBL. In the field there are too main program of PKBLSemen
Tonasa, partnership program with soft loan to society in order to enhance to
businnes and environment preservation program by focusing on education, health
, infrastructure, environment, various activities held by Semen Tonasa, has been
run in accordance with constitution and BUMN ministry policy
Based on the finding, PKBL PT Semen Tonasa Do not help solving the social
economy problemns of the field face many problems and obstracks, such as the
program have no conection. In the reality the problems happen because of the lack
of oganizing, planning, escort to the stage of evaluation that give normative
impression. The program is more charity based than community development,
because the lack of involvement of society in the stage of the process activities
PKBL. Therefor, PKBL by society responsibility is not only to follow the policy
of the act, but as comimitment of the company and then issue give suggestions for
appropriate community need assessments, evaluation of program, the program
skills and empowerment of society that is not charity based the company |
