| Summary: | DKI Jakarta population is always increases, either by natural population growth or immigrant. Those happen because DKI Jakarta is the center of government, business and trade. With the increases of population, the government establishing a program to build 1000 towers apartment project in Jakarta. One of them is development of residence area of Gading Nias Residences and Grand Emerald Apartment which located in Kelapa Gading North Jakarta. These districts are industry district, commercial and and residential. It is means that development of residences area leads an impact on the road network performance of area surroundings. This research emphasized on the traffic impact analysis caused by the development of residences area of Gading Nias Residences and Grand Emerald Apartment. This area was causing trip generation that affecting on road performance and junctions surroundings. Analyzed condition was the condition when the area was not built, the area has been resided 52% (current condition), and the areas have been resided 100% and 5 years projection in the future. From those condition can be analyzed the handling that will be done to minimize the impact occurred. The method used in this research is MKJI (1997). Based on the processing and analysis of data shown there is a relationship between the number of trip generation with the number of income and the amount of vehicles ownership per family. The existence of trip generation from Gading Nias Residences and Grand Emerald Apartment was affecting the performance of roads dan junctions surrounding residences area. Handling impact that had been done for roads was by reducing side friction and improvement of roads. For handling junctions was done by adjusting of traffic flow movement, traffic signal control and improvement of junctions. |
