Description
Summary:The purpose of the investors to invest is to improve the welfare of both for present and future by considering the expected rate of return. Basic principles in the investment decision is to consider between Return and Risk, with the basic consideration that the expected profit is a fusion between the return on realized gains with the risk associated in investment. The desire to earn high profits is the expectation of investors, but behind the high expectations is usually followed by a risk that might be too high to borne. Investment projects based on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is very advantageous because in addition to helping to rescue program from the dangers of global warming, the project can also provide additional capital through the mechanism of carbon credit financing by obtaining certification of emissions reductions. Investment feasibility analysis can be performed either from the aspect of financial or non financial aspects. Financial aspects is by analyzing the payback period, net present value, internal rate of return, and profitable index, whereas the non-financial aspects can be observed from the analysis of the technology used, the analysis of environmental impacts and others.
