Summary: | Among the 129 active volcanoes are located in Indonesia, Merapi, including
the most famous, especially in terms of vulkaniknya activity. Mount Merapi in the
form of natural disasters often cause eruptions with lava flows that often cause
casualties or property of the human soul. October 26, 2010 a very large eruption of
Mount Merapi, which spend millions of m

of hot lava flowing into the rivers that
disgorge at Merapi. Continuing impact of the eruption of Mount Merapi, which is in
the form of cold lava flood of potentially damaging bridge and sabo. Degradation
sabo (oprit) and the bridge is usually caused by the durability and loading of
vehicles passing over it, but in this case the bridge damage caused by the flow of
water is so powerful, because it flows together, in this case is rock and sand that has
hardness of material constituent together with pier, which is concrete. In view of the
bridge is a good means of public access to social and economic interests, it is
important to evaluate condition of existing bridges and sabo which has bridge
facilities (oprit) after the 2010 eruption of Mount Merapi.
The method used in evaluating the bridge is BMS (Bridge Management
System) and the Standards for the assessment of buildings using a design Sabo
(draft) Urgent Disaster Reduction Project for Mt. Merapi Operation and
Maintenance for Sabo Facilities and drafting priorities for sabo use AHP
(Analytical Hierarchy Process) while for the bridge using the condition of each
bridge.
Cold lava is so large damaging some sabo components on the component,
particularly sub dam and apron. Those elements are covered with sediment material
so that the component is not visible anymore. While the influence of cold lava on the
bridge is not so great, the structure of the bridge is still in good condition, only
damage to the watershed and river safety building. The method used in the
assessment of bridges and sabo priorities that generate a sequence of handling the
bridge along Gendol River include Tulung Hulu Bridge, Klurak Bridge, Bogem II
Bridge, Bogem I Bridge, and Bogem III Bridge, and to the scale of priorities in terms
of the index condition sabo among others GE-C Plumbon, GE-C Bronggang, GE-C
Rogobangsan, GE-C Jambon, GE-C7 Morangan. Judging from the capacity, among
others GE-C7 Morangan, GE-C Plumbon, GE-C Rogobangsan, GE-C Jambon, GE-
C Bronggang. |
