Summary:In this thesis, we discuss about finding estimators of three parameters of Generalized Gamma family distribution with Maximum Likelihood Estimation Method. Newton method is selected to calculate numerically for finding the estimators. The estimators of three distributions, Weibull, Gamma and Exponential distributions as the special case of three parameters of generalized gamma family distribution also were found, including Confidence Intervals Bound and Mean Square Error (MSE) value of estimators. The case study which was implementatied is modelling Total Fertility Rate in Indonesian with sample size 48, based on result of goodness of fit test by EasyFit 5.5 Professional software, both Generalized Gamma and Weibull distributions can be used to modelling sample distribution. It is conclused that Generalized Gamma distribution three parameters is bether than Weibull distribution that is special case form of generalized gamma family distribution, based on MSE of the estimators and curve fit.
