Summary:Endometriosis is a benign gynecologic illness which its case number increases each year. Endometriosis usually emerges followed by pelvis cronic, menstruation painful and infertility painful. Glycodelin gene is one of the moleculer markers of endometrial function. Glycodelin gene production experiences improvement on the endometrial secretion phase of normal menstruation cycle and this gene is needed for embryo implantation process, while for women who has low glycodelin gene endometriosis expression. In order so, it is necessary to conduct research concerning glycodelin gene expression on endometriosis women patient who joins ART programe (Assited Reproduction Technology) at Permata Hati Infertility Clinic, Dr. Sardjito Hospital, Yogyakarta. The aim of this research is to know glycodelin gene expression level and relationship between that gene expression level with endometriosis seriousness of condition degree. The quantity of endometrial tissues which are the sample of this research are six samples taken from normal women and six samples from endometriosis women on each stadium (stadium I � IV). These RNA tissues is isolated by using High Pure RNA Tissue Kit produced by Roche Applied Science and glycodelin gene mRNA amplification using RT-PCR technique. cDNA glycodelin gene analyzed with electroforesis and analyzed semiqualitative using the SCION IMAGE or IMAGEJ. The result of the research shows freqnency of women with endometriosis at Permata Hati Infertility Clinic, Dr. Sardjito Hospital, Yogyakarta who express glycodelin gene as much as 37,5 % and these is no relationship between the glycodelin gene expression level with endometriosis seriousness of condition degree.
