The purpose of this research is done in general is to know about the comparison an heir a substitute who drafted by Hazairin in the concept of bilateral inheritance by compilation inheritance Islamic law in the law of Islam , reviewed and discuss the concept of inheritance by Hazairin and a compilation of Islamic law review of sistematic the categorization of heirs based on the kinship relation and its part , reviewed and discuss the importance inheritance of subsitute place in inheritance of Islamic law. Type this research is library research, namely research that uses data resources from library , spatially juridical normative , which in the study is done analysis of data relevant overcoming the research analysis in this research is by did side-byside comparisons in law inheritance Islamic about heirs substitute according to concept bilateral inheritance of Hazairin by comparison concept heirs a substitute in compiling Islamic law is looked from sistematic of heirs based on the kinship relation and the accepted by the heirs substitute , and concerning the importance of heirs substituted in a legal system inheritance of Islamic law. The research in this research are, (1) the concept inheritance of bilateral applied KHI are not alike completely with concept heirs substitute initiates Hazairin in his bilateral concept of inheritance. Sistematic in the classification of the heir , provisions KHI in priority tends to understand syafi'I , but enter heirs substitute as alternatives . Of an heir substituted takes in KHI different to the concept of an heir substitute propounded Hazairin , KHI gave them different restrictions of an heir substitutes may not exceed of of an heir once entirely like succeeded. (2). A substitute for the existence and his heirs is important to inure inheritance in a system of Islam , it is considering is a passage in order to create a sense of justice and legal certainty inheritance Islamic law in the system itself.
