This paper aims mainly on perceptions among teacher trainees in one of the six Regional Teacher Training Centers (RTTC) on the role of Educational Psychology on Effective Teaching. It is basically to find out how much the trainees see the importance of educational psychology on their prospective teaching career. Next, it explores the perceptions among the teacher trainees on the correlation of educational psychology and effective teaching. Last but not least, it identifies the contribution of this subject (educational psychology) to the training program at the RTTC.
