PowerPoint software is the main focus in this study. Students are being surveyed in the first setting following by the interviewing process with lecturers for in-depth information. There was no significance differences were found regarding with student's academic performance between students from Information Technology major and English language major students. There are several questions in digging more information for the effectiveness of PowerPoint presentation used in classroom by lecturers. 100 samples collected from one university in Cambodia. 50 samples are students from English major and 50 students from ICT major.
