| Summary: | Drug addiction is a widespread problem in Malaysia. Various treatments to cure drug addiction
are discussed in this study. Among this treatments are religious approaches, based on the Quran
and al-Sunnah. The research questions are more on the concept of drug addiction and drug
dangers, conventional addiction treatment and alternative treatment of Islam as discussed. The
methodology of this scientific study focuses on qualitative methods. This study focuses on the
analysis of the work and the results of the findings. The results show that the Islamic approach is
more successful than conventional treatment. Therefore, Islamic treatment is given priority in
restoring drug addiction which is important to apply in every institution, rehabilitation center
and the family of addicts themselves. |
