The studies of the relationship between nurses and absenteeism are limited in Malaysia. Hence, the purpose of this research is to determine the impact of demographic, personal, organizational, and work-related factors on unplanned absenteeism among nurses in Selangor, Malaysia. The research is carried out by distributing 392 online questionnaires to respondents from Selangor Hospital. The data received from the respondent will be run by Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) in order to produce accurate results for the purpose of analysis and interpretation.
