Synthesis and characterization of 1,2,4-triazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives

In this project, a 1,2,4-triazole and a series of 1,2,4-triazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives have been successfully synthesized. A total of eight 1,2,4-triazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives (YR1-YR8) with different R group substituents (R = H, 2-F, 4-F, 2,4-F2, 4-Br, 4-CH3, 4-N(CH3)2 and 4-NO2) w...

The percentage yield of 1,2,4-triazole was 31 % whereas the percentage yield of the synthesized 1,2,4-triazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives (YR1-YR8) was in the range of 7 – 84 %.
