One of the main problems associated with wastewater from textile industries is basiccally colour. The main objective of this study is to determine and study the optimum combination of influencing factor levels for dye removal. Then, this is the brief methodology for the study. Firstly, an adsorbent was prepared and characterized then a 1000 mg/l stock solution of direct blue dye dye was prepared then different dye concentrations i.e 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mg/l were prepared from the stock solution then it is continued with the effect of initial pH, contact time, adsorbent dose was studied, last and foremost the isotherm and kinetics studies were conducted IRC 2015-05 Final Year Project NonPeerReviewed application/pdf en http://utpedia.utp.edu.my/16011/1/fyp2%20Mohamad%20Saufi.pdf SULAIMAN, MOHAMAD SAUFI (2015) REMOVAL OF DIRECT BLUE DYES FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTION USING BAGASSE ASH. Industrial wastewater treatment covers the mechanisms and processes used to treat
waters that have been beforehand being contaminated in some way by anthropogenic
industrial or commercial activities prior to its release into the environment or its reuse.
The present study focuses on the adsorption of direct blue dye dye on bagasse ash
ash. Batch studies were conducted to evaluate the influence of various experimental
parameters namely initial pH (pH0), contact time, adsorbent dose and initial
concentration (C0) on the removal of direct blue dye dye.
One of the main problems associated with wastewater from textile industries is
basiccally colour. The main objective of this study is to determine and study the
optimum combination of influencing factor levels for dye removal.
Then, this is the brief methodology for the study. Firstly, an adsorbent was prepared
and characterized then a 1000 mg/l stock solution of direct blue dye dye was
prepared then different dye concentrations i.e 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mg/l were
prepared from the stock solution then it is continued with the effect of initial pH,
