يتناول هذا البحث اهتمام ابن سيده بتوجيه القراءات وعنايته بها؛ حيث أورد في كتابه المحكم جملة من القراءات قام بتوجيهها، إلا أن هناك بعض المواضع قام المؤلِّفُ بذكر الآية القرآنية على أحد الأوجه القرآنية في الآية مستشهداً بها على بعض المسائل اللغوية والمعنوية دون الإشارة إلى من قرأها أو وجود قراءة أخرى؛ ما يوهم البعض على عدم وجود قراءة أخرى في الآية، مع قيامه بتوجيه إحدى القراءات التي تكون محلَّ الاستشهاد بها، وهذا يدل على عنايته بتوجيه القراءات، وقد تتبع البحث تلك المواضع فوجد جملة من تلك القراءات، كما هدف إلى بيان استشهادات ابن سيده بالقراءات على القضايا النحوية أو الصرفية أو البلاغية، وكيفية توظيف القراءات في ذلك، وقد سار هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي. وقد توصَّل البحث إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: عناية ابن سيده بتوجيه القراءات واهتمامه بها؛ حيث جعل القراءات القرآنية مصدراً من مصادره في اللغة، فهو يستشهد بالقراءة على صِحَّةِ اللفظ في اللغة وتقرير المعنى، فهو غالباً ما يذكر الكلمة ومعانيها، وتصاريفها، ويعقبها بالآية القرآنية استشهاداً بها، كما يتضح تعدد منهج ابن سيده في توجيه القراءات، فقد اشتمل توجيهه على أمور عدة، منها توجيه القراءة ببيان معناها أو توجيه القراءة ببيان أنها لغات أو توجيه القراءة بتعليلات لغوية نحوية أو صرفية. Abstract: This research deals with Ibn Sayyidah’s interest in directing the readings and his care for them. However, there are some places where the author mentioned the Qur’anic verse on one of the Qur’anic aspects of the verse, citing it on some linguistic and semantic issues without referring it to a specific reading, or leaving other readings, which has led some to believe that there might be no other reading of that particular verse. However, he did explain the reading in question, which indicates his interest in explaining it. Nonetheless, the research manage to trace other places and found a number of the other readings that it attempts to clarify and analyze in order to show their elaborations by the author to highlight his role in it. The research also aims to clarify Ibn Sayyidah's use of those readings to argue for certain grammatical, morphological, or rhetorical issues. This research follows the descriptive and analytical methods. Among the most important conclusions of this paper are: Ibn Sayyidah’s had displayed his interest in explaining those readings; he has used Quranic readings as one of the sources in validating certain issues in Arabic; he cited the readings to argue for the correctness of certain pronunciations in the language and the their meanings; he always mentioned certain words, their meanings and conjugations followed by the relevant Quranic verses; it is also apparent that Ibn Sayyidah's approach to explaining the Quranic readings are methodologically numerous; his elaboration included several aspects such as by clarifying its meaning, or indicating that they are types of dialects, or explaining it morphologically or grammatically.
