The review is done in the field application of (1) different deformation theories (2) geometric non-linear theories (3) material non-linear models for the analysis of piezoelectric laminates. The literature review emphasizes using a higher-order non-linear model to analyze piezoelectric laminates and their effect on the composite structure.
