One of them is the Constitutional Court as stipulated in Article 24C of the Indonesian Constitution. It is the only state institution that is tasked with safeguarding Indonesia's constitution and democracy. The heavy burden casted on the Court is assigned to its nine Constitutional Justices with the support of other staff of the Court. Together they have to carry out their constitutional duties and exercise their judicial authorities as enshrined in the Indonesian Constitution. The Indonesian Constitutional Court, which was established on August 13, 2003, strives to be an institution that can be trusted by the Indonesian people and to become a modern state institution. This was recorded in the blueprint of the Indonesian Constitutional Court and written in the vision and mission of the Indonesian Constitutional Court. This not an easy task because the population of the nation reaches 260 million and spread across almost 17,000 islands. In order to reach the people quickly and accurately the Court must be assisted with special tools such as digital technology. This research examines and explains the efforts done by the Constitutional Court in achieving the objective in order to discharge its responsibilities of safeguarding the constitution and democracy and protecting human rights.
