The earth is our home. When Allah sent Adam to Earth, He created the earth perfectly to meet our needs. Unfortunately, as time passed by, we slowly destroyed the earth. A wakeup call is now needed. W e may not be able to reverse all the damage done, but at least we can do something to slow down the effects of the environmental destruction. InSAF stands for ‘Integrated and sustainable agriculture & farming’ and was initiated due to a sense of responsibility to our community and the environment. This book aims to share ideas on how to create a beautiful ‘integrated’ vegetable garden that embodies the culture of integrated, sustainable farming based on the Maqasid al-Shariah (Islamic legal principles) towards food-security and sustainable development that does not harm the environment of the future generation.
