Digitalisation has increased, leading businesses and education institutions to move from home to work (WFH) and exchange funds using mobile apps. In certain cases, the role of mobile money in promoting the provision of external financial services, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been extended beyond conventional banking. In this paper, we study, in general, and during the COVID19 pandemic, the advantages and relevance of mobile money applications.
