Summary: | According to Bank Negara Malaysia, our currency notes or banknotes must be changed every 12 years and it just has been introduced. Recently, on 2012 our country has introduced and launched new series of banknotes which we are using right now. These 4th series of Malaysia banknotes had made some improvement in terms of the material of the money and used less cost in order to produced it. This research paper being conducted in order to study the adequacy of the 4th series of Malaysia banknotes in terms of the material of the banknotes which is the polymer technology, facility of machinery and equipment for the banknotes and benefit of the new banknotes towards our country. In order to obtain respond from the respondents, the researcher used questionnaires as a tools and it has been distributed to 150 respondents in Kota Kinabalu. All of the respondents are among bank's teller since they are the one that deal with currency notes every single day and then the data had been analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences ( SPSS ). The finding shows that all the variables have significant impact towards the new currency notes. |
