The critical objective is to ensure the robustness and resilience of the structure, particularly in the face of potential wave impact loading. A key challenge confronted in the project involves determining the most suitable safety factor for the mini catamaran houseboat, necessitating a careful and detailed design of both the framing system and the overall structure. The construction methodology strictly adheres to the guidelines stipulated in the FRP Construction Standard, and various computations are undertaken to assess the strength of the frame structure. The obtained results signify the successful meeting of engineering safety factor requirements, thereby validating the precision and effectiveness of the design approach. The notable achievement of this study lies in the construction's adherence to safety standards, where the FRP Construction Standard serves as a robust framework. The research suggests future studies could benefit from employing advanced software to further validate safety factors in the design of mini catamaran houseboats, ensuring continued advancements in structural integrity and safety. 2023 Student Project NonPeerReviewed text en https://ir.uitm.edu.my/id/eprint/105452/1/105452.pdf Structure design and strength analysis glass reinforced plastic of catamaran mini houseboat / Mohamad Fathi Anas Fauzi.
