Summary: | Technology is blasting quickly from year to year, and more youthful ages are the ones gotten in this fast change. The definition of social media does not have a clear meaning to explain what it is because it is growing everyday and become more sophisticated. In any case, when one stage
developed, it allowed individuals to be content makers, controllers and straightforward user, all things considered. When this substance is shared, it turns into a discussion, since all user who have accounts on social media platform can connect with all posts. A typical classification of social media includes shared ventures (e.g., Wikipedia), blogs or web journals, user generated content communities (e.g., YouTube), social networking sites (e.g., Facebook; Twitter), virtual game worlds (e.g., Kaneva; The Sims), and virtual social worlds (e.g., Second Life). Different parents have a different perspective on the usage of social media on their children. Good or bad, parents need to know the growth of the technology alongside their children because it seems that most children nowadays are too attached to this technology. In this review paper, we will see the challenges in the use of social media among the students and the adult roles in the usage of social media on their children. |
