Description
Summary:It is a compulsory for us, the students of diploma in civil engineering to take part in an industrial training to learn and expose ourselves in the real working condition due to our course that we are taking. The aim and motivation of this industrial training is to receive discipline, skills, teamwork and technical knowledge through a proper training environment, which will help me, as a student in the field of Information Technology, to develop a responsiveness of the self-disciplinary nature of problems in information and communication technology. Based on the practical training, it is a requirement to fulfil the course in order to complete the whole program in diploma of civil engineering. For civil engineering students, 8 weeks are allocated for training at location chosen by the students themselves. There is no restriction for students whether they want to do training in government agencies or private organizations. The industrial training started right after the final exam of semester 3 ended, starting from 17th April until 12th June 2017. During a period of 8 weeks training at WZR Property Sdn Bhd, I was assign to monitor, learn and supervise the work done by workers, and learn how to handle the construction site activity. At the end of the industrial training, I believe the experience that I gained along the journey for two months could lead to a better development in the future ahead. It is hoped that I could be able to continue my journey as an engineering student in the future development by using all the knowledge that have been given.
