The use of waterproofing had been the necessary item in construction. People are well known with the importance of it. So that it is cannot be taken easily on its installation, on choosing of it, and so on. Building is a shelter for us to live longer. If we are not aware of some defect on building like dampness that will affect the building structure and directly toward us, it will be no other than harming. People’s fiancé, living lifestyle, emotional and physical will get affect if there is no initial act taken from getting the building a waterproofing to prevent sort of defects. So the installation of waterproofing firstly needs to be carried out well. The neat steps taken will produce an effective functional of waterproofing. Other than that, any goods way and action also should be taken. Long short, first chapter is basically explaining my company organisation that I have been doing my internship about 4 month a semester. How many section and department in total and its function gathered in the chapter. Each of sections and departments are playing different and specific roles. Total of staff also can be allocated. They have a leader and work together as a team to reach the main objective of JKR and to ensure the process and progress goes smooth. Second chapter is the medium for understanding of the title of this report, Installation of Waterproofing. This chapter contain the information, knowledge, point of the waterproofing for building. The needs of waterproofing and implication of not apply it were stated in this chapter. Awareness of using waterproofing has been point out. Building really needs to be in a good condition and one of it can be by using the waterproofing. Case study chapter is on the third chapter. There are lots of site I have been visit and 3 of them are related to my investigation/observation, about waterproofing. There are different type of waterproofing have been used on each site. Furthermore, method installations are also not the same. The two of them are on the new construction project while the other one is for maintenance project. As I have observe the process, the chapter will showing the output. Chapter 4 and 5 are the closing of the report. While going through my observation and study process, there are not all in a good term. There must be some lacking as natural everything being imperfect. So, chapter 4 spotted the problems in doing the study also some unpopular relatable suggestion to improvise it. Meanwhile, chapter 5 conclude the whole report generally since conclusion are about to reach the objective of the report like knowing about the title of report, waterproofing.
