Muslims has taught itself to deal with issues like poverty in Islamic communities through the distribution from one earnings to significant beneficiaries. Malaysia has been doing well to gather up and allocate the zakat whenever it establishes a regional organization to handle the zakat. This research would further investigate the level of consciousness among UiTM lCEPS Johor students of the obligated to support income zakat and also the
prospective payer between UiTM lCEPS Johor Students. This research is a quantitative study that used a regression analysis to evaluate the level of consciousness of UiTM lCEPS by Johor Students towards zakat. Simple random sampling technique was used to measure the Knowledge, Attitude and Religion to contribute Zakat Income. Pearson correlation has been used to measure the correlation among variables. 117 respondents participated in the
survey. The finding suggests that there is a substantial relationship in both Attitude and consciousness of the zakat contribution of Uitm lCEPS Johor Students. It also clarified that Education and Faith have a positive relation with the zakat participation understanding amongst Uitm lCEPS Johor Students. The results of this research will support the appropriate ministries of the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) as they are involved in the execution of the programme Affairs) as they are directly involved in the implementation of the plan. |
