This study explores the relationship between unemployment in high education and microeconomic variables in Malaysia (gross domestic product, inflation, exchange rate, salaries and foreign direct investment). The time frame from 1989-2019 is included in this report. In this study, the techniques we use to conduct are Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF), which is to analyse the stationary data. In addition, to evaluate the long-term relationship of the data, we use the Johansenco-integration. The key finding of this analysis is that all the independent variables have a long-term association with Malaysia's high school unemployment. There is a negative relationship between gross domestic product and inflation, while foreign direct investment, wages and exchange rates have a positive relationship with high education unemployment in Malaysia.
