Summary:The practical task that I chose is on how the process and what is the purpose of dilapidation survey. I chose this as my case study to make this practical training report based on my own experience that I had review various types of survey along the 4 months practical in this company. For the format of practical training report are divided into several sections, which are company background, case study background, comment, suggestion, recommendation and conclusion. Based on my experience either on site or in the office, the dilapidation report is complicated especially during on site; there are many of obstacles that interfere our survey during on site such as unpredictable weather and the uncooperative society during the survey process. However, it is not too hard to make record and understands the process of dilapidation survey. There are many methods and process to do dilapidation report. In this report, it contains a summary of the definition of dilapidation survey, process from starting work until sending report, the tool and equipment, method of taking record or data and the procedure on how the condition survey is conducted. In conclusion, dilapidation survey gives impact on our profession, the dilapidation survey has proved highly effective in improving maintenance or it also can prevent hazardous accidents that will occur. This survey benefits the tenant itself and also the surrounding neighbors and people.
