Description
Summary:Biometric is a method used for measuring and analyzing of physical attributes such as facial features, voices or retinal scan. This technology can be used to define an individual's unique identity and for security purpose. Nowadays, there are many types of biometric used such as fingerprint, vein, face, palm, iris and sound. There are many ways to match a fingerprint. Most of the matching technique nowadays is done by using the global features such as the core delta point and the global orientation of the fingerprint such whorl, loop and arch. However, this project will discuss about different type of matching the images using combine features technique. Combine features is a technique that combine the information between two minute and matched it with the database. It stores information such as the coordinates of the minute and the ridge count between the two minutiae points. This matching technique also can be used to solve the partial fingerprint problems.
