Summary: | The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of unethical behavior (workplace bullying, employee theft, absenteeism and whistle blowing) on employee performance. This behavior will violate organizational norms, policies and internal rules. The reasons why people engage in such behavior are explored, along with how to eliminate this behavior occur in organization environment. A literature review on unethical behavior and employee performance was conducted. The data analysis will be based on the conceptual framework that has been developed. The result derived from this study will be enable to identify the element that influences employee performance. Regardless of whether negative behavior is over or implicit, it has negative consequences for the entity and its affiliates. So, this research study will discover the level of employee performance, the unethical behavior that frequently occur in the organizations and to study the relationship between unethical behavior with employee performance. For the purpose of the data collection for this research, the researcher use primary and secondary data. The researcher distributed 70 sets of questionnaire to the respondents to all departments at D’Hotel Seri Iskandar, Perak in order to make survey and collect data information. Data was analysed by statistical package for social science (SPSS) program through frequency analysis, Reliability Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Mean Analysis, Pearson Correlation Coefficient Analysis and Hypothesis Testing. |
