Visualization is any technique for creating images, diagrams, or animations to communicate a message. Visualization through visual imagery has been an effective way to communicate both abstract and concrete ideas since the dawn of humanity. The problem is students not interested to read or study the history book. Next problem is the content they are use in the book is not attract the students to read it because the design of book is not suitable and not interesting. Another problem is the color for the book is not suitable and not like others book. This study has the objective that aims to study type of visual that are suitable to use in the history book and to determine the visual can represent history in the history book. The studies will go further about book design visualization, color, typeface and layout if necessary. Based on observation of book of history, it unattractive to students in high school. This is why the book of history need to be redesign and improve the book design itself so that many student will attract to use and read this book. New look of book design is important and needed because it will change the perception of this book and make this book is the most book to read in a long term.
