The purpose of this study is to find the understanding of Bisaya community towards the sustainability of Festival Babulang based on the four variables; end of haversting seasons, symbol of richness, preservation of cultural heritage and promote unity. A sample size of 100 villagers have selected from Kampung Batu Danau, Limbang Sarawak to fill in the questionnaires and interviewed to study the nature of Babulang before the new understanding. The higher component of the understanding of Festival Babulang among the Bisaya Community is the preservation of cultural heritage which they know this component are most important to sustain the festival. Bisaya community has two different level of generation on understanding toward sustainability, in which those young and old generation*have no different understanding at Kampung Batu Danau, Limbang. There is also no different in the understanding of Bisaya community toward the sustainability of Festival Babulang based on educational background.
