Kampung Permatang Saga is a place that is rich with historical place. This historical town is abandoned there are potentials to develop at the site. The suitable design ideas that can be implemented to this site is through Heritage Trail. Heritage Trail is design that uses learning, conservation and enhancement of the historical place. This approach at Kampung Permatang Saga will create attraction and give new knowledge for people about the history of place. The heritage trail is important to connect a space to another space that create a connector for the heritage nodes. The focused of development is to exposed the people with history in the different way and more enjoyable and more relaxing. Kampung Permatang Saga have potential to develop as a centre for local and also tourists using the element that can be found on the site. Besides that, Kampung Permatang Saga also can promote cultural activities that can be done with visitors using seasonal schedule. The suitable cultural activity that can be done at Kampung Permatang Saga is paddy harvesting and paddy replanting. This plan the historical remarks such as the old railway tracks will create an interesting heritage trail that will improving and generate more income for local people through the design ideas that have been identified.
