| Summary: | Theme parks, which is also known as amusement parks is a collection of amusement rides and other entertainment attractions assembled for the purpose of entertaining a fairly large group of people. It is basically more elaborate and complex than a simple city park or playground, as a theme park is meant to cater to adults, teenagers, and small children. In order to satisfy these parties, facilities management of a certain theme park is very important that should be taken seriously. With a good facilities management program, it will certainly increase the functionality and the value of the theme park itself. Rationally, the main objective is to provide a proper and comfortable space or condition to building users besides to increase the quality or standard of the facilities provided. The good facilities management will reduce the wastage and gain the higher profit. Furthermore, as an example, this dissertation is focused on space planning of theme park and as we know, this kind of place are surely exposed to the public and it might be used daily by hard activity and it sure needs a proper management to maintain its function in future. |
