Description
Summary:PB 260 is a Quick Starter clone, a clone recommended for commercial production of latex from 2006-2010 to the present. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of physiology and production of latex on the length of the quarter spiral tapping groove (S4) and the application of gas stimulants to the rubber plant Clone PB 260. This research was conducted in Afdeling II PT. Nusantara Plantation III Bandar Betsy Plantation, Bandar Huluan II District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The results showed that the yield of latex in the S1G1=S4 d4 ETG 100%/30d treatment had a higher latex yield compared to the S0G1=Control treatment. The results of physiological analysis of latex, namely sucrose, Pi, and thiol in the S0G1 and S1G1 = S/4 d4 ETG 100%/30d treatments on rubber clone PB260 showed no significant difference. In general, the use of stimulant gas S1G1=S4 d4 ETG 100%/30d is very influential in increasing latex production.
